How did you get started? How long have you been in business or worked in this field?
Allegiance Pressure Washing was born out of a desire to have more control over my schedule, allowing me to spend quality time with my growing family—my wife and our four kids. I had already spent 5-6 years in the pressure washing industry, initially helping a friend establish a pressure washing division within their window cleaning company. This was long before the convenience of learning through YouTube or Facebook. Instead, I relied on VHS tapes, books, and online forums to gain the knowledge needed to succeed. That experience, though challenging, laid a strong foundation for my future in the industry.
After a brief time away from pressure washing, I felt a strong pull back to the field, leading me to start Allegiance Pressure Washing. We’re now celebrating our 10th year in business, and what began as a one-person operation has evolved into a team of 8 incredible teammates—each a rockstar in their own right. My initial vision was to keep the business small, relying solely on myself. However, as the business grew, so did my appreciation for the power of a dedicated team. Today, I’m proud to work alongside an All-Star Team, helping each other reach both our collective and individual goals.
Our journey has been about more than just cleaning surfaces—it’s about building a reliable, trustworthy business that our community can count on, year after year.
What is unique about your business? What sets you apart from the rest?
While many companies offer similar exterior cleaning services, Allegiance Pressure Washing stands out because of our unwavering commitment to customer service and quality. We’re not just a seasonal or part-time operation; we’re a full-time, dedicated exterior cleaning company with a physical location where our team meets every day. Unlike some competitors, we have team members in the office during business hours to answer calls, address concerns, and ensure that proposals and job scheduling are handled promptly.
Our professional approach is evident from the moment you see our uniformed technicians arriving in company-branded trucks, equipped with the latest technology to get the job done efficiently and safely. We maintain all our vehicles and equipment meticulously to ensure we’re always ready to serve our clients in a timely manner.
Customer satisfaction is our top priority. We follow up after every job to make sure our clients are 100% satisfied, and we back our work with a satisfaction guarantee—if there’s a problem, we fix it. We believe in running towards problems, not away from them.
Our focus on consistent training, reviews, and quality control ensures that every team member delivers the same high standard of work. This commitment to excellence is reflected in our near 300 5-star reviews on Google, Facebook, and other platforms. The principles guiding our work are simple but powerful: "How you do anything is how you do everything," and "Every job is a self-portrait of the person who did it. Autograph your work with excellence." These values drive us to deliver exceptional results on every project.
Why did you choose to partner with the Holidays in the Vue Parade?
Our decision to partner with the Holidays in the Vue Parade was sparked by a request from a good friend and mentor whose daughter was involved in organizing this exciting new event. Initially, I planned to sponsor in a small way to support her, but as I learned more about the parade, I became genuinely excited about its potential to positively impact the Bellevue community. When I discovered that the main sponsorship was still available, I knew I had to seize the opportunity.
This event aligns with our passion for bringing joy and excitement to the community, especially during the holiday season, which is such a magical and fun time of year. While there may not be a direct correlation between the parade and our business, the spirit of Christmas is something we’re eager to support and celebrate.
By sponsoring this parade, we hope to cement our commitment to the Bellevue area, showing that we’re not just a business with a physical location here, but a company that genuinely cares about and is invested in the community’s success and happiness.
Over the years, Allegiance has sponsored several schools, teams, and events, but this parade is by far the most exciting event we’ve had the privilege to support. Our entire team is thrilled to be a part of it and can’t wait to help make it a "can't miss" event for families in Bellevue and the surrounding communities.
For both my wife, Sara, and me, Bellevue holds a special place in our hearts—we both grew up here and have countless cherished memories. Even though we now live in Fairview, our roots remain deeply planted in Bellevue. Allegiance’s office, the school where Sara teaches, and where our kids attend, are all here. In many ways, we spend more time in Bellevue than anywhere else, so it’s incredibly meaningful for us to support an event that brings joy to the community we love.
What is your favorite holiday memory or tradition?
Growing up with family roots in both Michigan and Tennessee gave me the best of both worlds during the holidays. Some of my favorite memories are from Christmas Eve at my grandmama’s house in Fairview, where we indulged in all the southern cooking classics—turkey, ham, creamed corn, cornbread dressing, and chess pie. Just thinking about it makes me hungry! Then, on Christmas Day, we would be at home enjoying the northern culinary traditions from Michigan, like turkey with real stuffing, whole corn, rolls with jam, and ambrosia salad. It was a perfect blend of north and south, though I must admit, my grandmama’s southern cooking was unbeatable.
As an only child in a one-parent household, we didn’t have many traditions, but my wife has brought some wonderful traditions from her childhood that our children absolutely love. One of the biggest is the advent calendar. For 24 days, the kids are buzzing with excitement, wondering what surprise the advent calendar has in store for them when they get home. It’s a fun and special time for our family.
One tradition that has stuck with me over the years is watching Christmas Vacation with my best friend, Matthew, who I’ve known since middle school. We watched it multiple times together when it first came out in theaters, and it’s been our favorite Christmas movie ever since. As adults, we’ve made it a tradition to find a theater showing it each year and relive those memories together.
At Allegiance, we keep the holiday spirit alive by delivering home-baked cookies to many of our clients and celebrating with our annual team Christmas dinner. It’s a wonderful way to show appreciation to both our clients and our team for all the hard work they do throughout the year.
What is one thing about your business that people may not know?
While most people know us for our top-notch exterior cleaning services, what many don’t realize is that we also offer professional Holiday Lighting Installation for both residential and commercial properties, including HOA communities. For the past five years, we’ve been designing, installing, maintaining, taking down, and storing commercial-grade lighting, wreaths, garlands, bows, and other festive decorations.
Although we primarily focus on Christmas installations, our creativity doesn’t stop there—we’ve also done custom lighting designs for Halloween, Hanukkah, and even Breast Cancer Awareness month in October. Our holiday lighting service has grown organically through word of mouth from our satisfied customers, and this year, we’re expanding even further. We’re excited to help more homes, businesses, and communities get into the holiday spirit than ever before!
